The Board of Airline Representatives in Turkey (BART) is the industry association representing the majority of airlines operating to Turkey.
We present a vital international perspective of the industry at a local level and are highly involved in any issues that collectively affect our members, including policy, regulation, airport capacity, environment, taxation and charges.
A primary focus is on tackling issues that add costs and complexity for airlines and passengers and we are actively engaged and keep our members connected with a host of stakeholders, including senior government ministers, government departments, regulators and airport operators.
BART was established to promote and support the interests of regular airlines carrying passengers and cargo within Turkey. BART tries to create the best conditions for successful civil aviation by representing the interests of member airlines.
BART does NOT engage itself in:
Matters concerning pricing policies and agency remunerations
Matters of any other commercial policies between its members and their distribution channels
Matters of commercial competition and debate between BART members
